No Account Required

HonMāku does not require you to create an account to use our services. You can browse and use all features of our platform without providing any personal information or creating an account.

Local Data Storage Only

Any data you store using HonMāku (such as watchlists, progress tracking, etc.) is saved locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal information from you. We do not track your usage, browsing behavior, or any other data about how you use our service. We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies.

API Usage

We connect to the AniList API to fetch anime information when needed. API requests are made directly from your browser to AniList, and we do not store or log any of this data on our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not share any of your data with third parties. Since we don't collect any personal information, there is no data to share.

We do not use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Data Deletion

Any data stored in your browser can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser's data for this site. This will remove all watchlists and personal data stored locally in your browser. Since we don't store data on our servers, there's nothing for us to delete on our end.

Third-Party Services

While HonMāku itself doesn't collect or store your data, you may encounter links to third-party services (like streaming sites, AniList, etc.) when using our platform. These services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their data practices.

Additionally, we use Giscus for community discussions and comments. Giscus is a comments system powered by GitHub Discussions. When you participate in discussions or comment on content, GitHub's privacy practices apply. Your comments will be visible to others who access the discussion.

Children

Our Services are for users age 13 and over and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13 and believe he or she has disclosed personal information to us, please contact us Here.
